Latvian On Saturday, 10 December, we went to Galway to celebrate the tradition of Christmas jamboree. We were delighted with the response from both young and old participants.
As Dina Bergholca, the head of the Galway Latvian Support group, said after the event: "Even though nature has not blessed us with snow and white scenery in the run-up to Christmas, that is no reason why we should not be filled with Christmas joy! The lively people of Galway made sure that there was no shortage of activity, lively dancing, songs, bright thoughts and warm meetings."
